Oakwood University Hosts Historic Evangelism Event in Collaboration with Southern Union, Gulf States Conference, and South Central Conference
“I conduct around 14 evangelism meetings every year; however, I’ll remember this one,” said Pastor Roger Hernandez, ministerial and evangelism director for the Southern Union Conference. Hernandez was talking about the successful “Revive” evangelism meeting that took place on the Oakwood University campus on February 17-25, 2023, an event sponsored and directed by Hernandez in collaboration with the university and two local conferences.
Refreshed and Improved AdventistGiving Website Coming Later this Month
The North American Division's treasury department is pleased to announce that a new and improved version of the AdventistGiving website is coming later this month. The upgraded site features a more modern design, including color photos representing different aspects of stewardship, and is more user-friendly.
The North American Division Joins the 2023-2024 "The Great Controversy" Project Initiative
During the Adventist-laymen’s Services and Industries International Convention in Aug. 2021, GC president Ted N.C. Wilson announced an initiative to distribute copies of The Great Controversy worldwide. As 2023 begins, the NAD is encouraging members to participate in a special new approach to distribution.
Southern Adventist University Dedicates Land for Future School of Business Facility
Southern Adventist University students, employees, donors, and community members joined together on February 24, 2023, to dedicate land for a new building to house the School of Business. After opening remarks, the group formed a large circle around the future facility’s location and prayed together over the land.
