Now in its 22nd year, this unique NAD event showcased 48 student films and several professional projects, featured workshops led by professional faith-based filmmakers, and honored emerging voices via a pitch competition with cash prizes and an awards ceremony.

Andrews University Releases Daniel/Revelation Bible Study Journal

In what may be a first for Adventist publishing, Andrews University has released a small book containing only the biblical books of Daniel and Revelation, with study notes, in the form of a study journal. More than 5,000 pastors in North America will receive the book during the next few months.

Two Ethnically-Diverse Churches Worship Together in Denver

Two pastors of ethnically-diverse churches who became close friends decided to bring their churches together in a joint worship. Aware of COVID-19 pandemic regulations, the attending believers registered ahead for the worship service, and more than 300 of them from the Littleton and Denver Park Hill churches gathered on the Mile High Academy sports field on Oct. 3, 2020.

The Delight in Their Eyes

Some claim that in 1992, Hallmark Cards started “Clergy Appreciation Day.” After all, giving us a reason to buy a card is good for business. Others state, however, that the concept of clergy appreciation began way back in AD 65-66, when the Apostle Paul wrote to young Timothy: “Let the elders who rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially those who labor in the word and doctrine” (1 Tim.5:17, NKJV). While Hallmark may have helped us focus our appreciation by buying cards and gifts from their stores during October, Paul reminds us that it is biblical to honor and care for our pastors.
