Now in its 22nd year, this unique NAD event showcased 48 student films and several professional projects, featured workshops led by professional faith-based filmmakers, and honored emerging voices via a pitch competition with cash prizes and an awards ceremony.

Merryman is no stranger to Southern, having graduated from the university in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in business; he then served as director of Financial Aid and Enrollment Services from 2005 to 2012.
