Sonscreen 2025 Brings Together 200+ Creatives to Celebrate Faith, Film, and Community
From April 3-5, more than 200 student filmmakers, professionals, and guests gathered at Loma Linda University Church in California for the North American Division’s 2025 Sonscreen Film Festival. Now in its 22nd year, this unique NAD event showcased 48 student films and several professional projects, featured workshops led by professional faith-based filmmakers, and honored emerging voices via a pitch competition with cash prizes and an awards ceremony.
Young Adult Mission Project Focuses on Three Philadelphia University Campuses
Philadelphia, home to more than 35 institutions of higher learning, recently saw more than 70 young adults from across the North American Division (NAD) gather specifically to reach three of those campuses. On March 1-4, 2018, these campus ministry students focused on reaching out to Bryn Mawr College, Temple University, and Drexel University.

But one Parkland shooting victim and survivor who has gained some notoriety through numerous, televised interviews wasn’t in D.C. On that March day, Samantha Grady was a state away from the Florida demonstration, praying and studying the Bible at a PBE event.
