Sonscreen 2025 Brings Together 200+ Creatives to Celebrate Faith, Film, and Community
From April 3-5, more than 200 student filmmakers, professionals, and guests gathered at Loma Linda University Church in California for the North American Division’s 2025 Sonscreen Film Festival. Now in its 22nd year, this unique NAD event showcased 48 student films and several professional projects, featured workshops led by professional faith-based filmmakers, and honored emerging voices via a pitch competition with cash prizes and an awards ceremony.
Third “Is This Thing On?” Conversation with Young Adults and Adventist Church leaders in North America Held at Walla Walla University
NAD leaders engaged in conversation with college students on May 12, 2018, during the third “Is This Thing On?” video live stream. The two-hour broadcast took place on the campus of Walla Walla University, where more than 200 gathered in the Winter Educational Complex to ask questions on many topics. Thousands more watched online.

Reaching Millennial Generations: Ministry Leaders from Around the World Gather at Andrews University
On April 12–14, 2018, the Global Mission Center for Secular and Postmodern Studies (CSPS), in partnership with the Seventh-day Adventist Theological Seminary at Andrews University, hosted the Reaching Millennial Generations conference. More than 200 individuals from every division in the world, including the Trans-European, Inter-European, South Pacific and South American Divisions journeyed to Berrien Springs for the event.
