God Has Gifted Us, and He Will Not Give Up on Us
“A church that does not do outreach is not a church; it's a club. A congregation that doesn't look at its world and say, ‘We can find a niche, we can find a place where we can reach souls for Jesus Christ’ isn't a church,” said Daniel R. Jackson, president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America, at the start of his annual report, during the second business session of the 2019 North American Division Year-End Meeting. 2019 YEM Day Two: Delegates Elect Leaders, Receive Reports on Refugee and Emerging Immigrant Ministries
The executive committee of the North American Division tapped three leaders to fill the following positions for the division, vice president for ministries, undertreasurer, and director of stewardship ministries. In addition, NAD Multi-lingual Ministries marks the 10th anniversary of Adventist Refugee and Immigrant Ministries.
NAD President Says Spiritual Security Lies in God, Not the Church
During the divine worship service on Nov. 2, 2019, Daniel R. Jackson, president of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in North America (NAD), said “When I think of the ongoing, never-ending debate in the church, all taking place within the context of human, natural and supernatural disasters, I am often shocked and disappointed in myself and in my church.” Jackson preached a sermon entitled “The Vision Fulfilled!” to the delegates, families, and guests attending the 2019 NAD Year-End Meeting Sabbath program.
